There are lots of places you can look for local opportunities, so below we've listed a range of organisations and websites that you can go to search for upcoming opportunities...

  • Wokingham Volunteer Centre

    Wokingham Volunteer Centre helps people get volunteering and find the right role of them as well as helping volunteer groups fulfil their aims.

    You can use their website to look for current volunteering roles, find out what they do, and get in touch.

  • Wokingham Borough Council

    Wokingham Borough Council also have great information about volunteering oppportunities on their website.

    You can volunteer in your local community, library, and even the countryside!

  • Berkshire Youth

    Berkshire Youth: A local community group who host activities and clubs for young people across Berkshire.

    They also offer volunteering opportunities for people from all walks of life. Volunteers can help in the clubs and activities and even within the running of Berkshire Youth with roles as Youth Ambassadors and Fundraisers. 

  • Volunteering Matters

    Volunteering Matters is an organisation that host all sorts of volunteering opportunities and programmes.

    You can search for opportunities on the website by simply entering your post code! You can also find out about volunteering and its benefits.

  • vInspired

    vInspired: A national charity that signposts opportunities for youth volunteering around the country.

    They also offer awards for volunteers who have volunteered for a certain number of hours - so you can get recognised for your help!

  • Future Foundations

    Future Foundations: An independent organisation which aims to help young people gain skills by taking part in volunteer programmes. 

    Their main programmes are 'Global Social Leaders', an international programme for those aged 13 - 17, and the National Citizen Service, a 4-6 week programme for 16 - 17 year olds.

    A lot of young people who get involved with the National Citizen Service (NCS) really enjoy their time and it gives you great transferable skills.

    Do-it.org: A great website where you can searh for volunteering opportunities across the country and in your local area.

    You can sign up and create a profile, or simply search for opportunities in your local area. You can also search for 'Do It At Home' volunteering opportunities.
